要: 主要组织相容性复合体( MHC) 因其在免疫方面的重要作用而倍受免疫学家重视. 随着研究的不断深
入, 了解到 MHC 是一个高度多态的基因群, 它广泛分布于各种脊椎动物体内. MHC 除了具有免疫功能外, 还

A Summary of Studies on Major plex( MHC)
and MHC Genes

Abstract: The major plex ( MHC) is of great interest to immunologists for the importance of
the immunological functions. Further understanding suggests that MHC is an extended cluster of genes with
extraordinary polymorphism and the genes spread over nearly all vertebrates extensively. Besides the immunological
functions, MHC genes also play important roles in many other respects. The polymorphism of MHC genes, especially
of MHC Class
genes, is the most essential property. Based on the polymorphism, MHC genes are studied in
ics, evolution, behavior, conservation, ecology and so on. Some recent data about structure, function and
application of MHC are discussed.
