　　运代理与班轮公司的关系，随业务的不同而不同，近几年来由货代提供的拼箱服务，即拼箱货的集运服务已建立了他们与班轮公司及其它承运人（如铁路）之间的较为密切的联系，然而一些国家却拒绝给货运代理支付佣金，所以他们世界范围内争取对佣金的要求。
　　六、提供拼箱服务
　　随着国际贸易中级装运输的增长，引进集运和拼箱的服务，在提供这种服务中，货代担负起委托人的作用。集运和拼箱的基本含义是：把一个出运地若干发货人发往另一个目的地的若干收货人的小件货物集中起来，作为一个整件运输的货物发往目的地的货代，并通过它把单票货物交各个给收货人。货代签发提单，即分提单或其他类似收据交给每票货的发货人；货代目的港的代理，凭初始的提单交给收货人。拼箱的收、发货人不直接与承运人联系，对承运人来说，货代是发货人，而货代在目的港的代理是收货人。因此，承运人给货代签发的是全程提单或货运单。如果发货人或收货人有特殊要求的话，货代也可以在出运地和目的地从事提货和交付的服务，提供门到门的服务。
