Abstract: This paper explosively works on the empirical study of the relationship between the financial development and residents’ property income during the year of 1990 and 2007. Carried out by co-integration test and error correction model, it shows that the financial development and the residents’ property income has a stable positive relationship in a long-term and in the short term the financial development as well as promote the growth of property income. Through the Granger causality test, it shows that financial development is Granger causes of the property income, on the contrary is not established. Based on the conclusion of this study, the corresponding policy recommendations finally are given.
