1. About teaching material
Text A is taken from unit 4,Book 2. It‘s the focus of this unit. The topic is about natural disasters. It’s a hot topic these years. After learning this text,we will have a general picture of volcano eruption,earthquake and hurricane.
2. About the students
1) The students are of the lower intermediate English level.
2)They have mastered some vocabulary about natural disasters.
3)It’s difficult for them municate with others in English, some are even not interested in English.
