学校有教职员工44名，。中学高级教师2名，中级教师25名。市、县级骨干教师9名。研究生同等学历3名，大学本科8人，专科23人。现有6个教学班，学生54名。学校教学设施完善，设备先进，各种活动场所齐全，是一所实施九年义务教育花园化寄宿式特殊教育学校。
　　建校以来，学校把教育教学做为学校的主要任务，强化教科研工作做为学校的当务之急，抓办学特色，使学生掌握一技之长，做为学校的立足点，更新观念、创新进取做为学校生存发展的根本。学校在“团结、务实、勤奋、进取”的领导班子带领下，打造一支师德高尚、教学经验丰富、结构合理、奉献进取的教师队伍。用无私奉献、爱岗敬业的精神构建了良好校风、教风、学风。近年来，学校完成省科研课题一项，县科研课题二项。荣获非典型肺炎防控工作“先进单位”、“先进党支部”等称号。
　　多年以来，县政府领导十分关怀特殊教育工作，办学经费逐年提高。学校的办学条件得到了极大的改善，全县聋儿已全部免费就学。
综合教学楼几大区域。 学校校园环境优美，布局合理，安静整洁，功能齐全。生均绿地20平方米以上， 软硬覆盖率达百分之七十，被评为市级花园式学校和市绿化先进单位。 综合教学楼建筑面积2460平方米。根据教育教学实际和学生学****活动需 要，楼内设置了律动室、康复训练室、美术室、图书阅览室、实验室、计算机 室、职业教育室、测听室、多媒体电教室、启智训练室等专业教室，用来训练 学生的各种能力，促进他们身心健康成长。并有食堂、宿舍、浴室等附属设施， 以满足学生学****生活和活动的需要。
　　 学校现有教职工30名（专任教师24名）。专科以上学历的16人，占总数的 百分之五十三。师范毕业生18人，占总数的百分之六十。小学高级教师17人， 占总数的百分之五十七。
