地图等高线自动内插算法

摘要提出了一个用于地图编辑的等高线在线内插算法,首先给出了基本算法,然后介绍了地图编辑中会遇到
的等高线延伸方向的判别、封闭等高线的处理和马鞍型地形等高线等问题,形成了一个能处理各种复杂情况的等
高线内插实用算法. 算法充分利用了等高线的先验知识,因此速度快,插出的等高线质量高. 算法只需用户连续选
择相邻的两条或多条等高线而无需录入等高线的高程值,就可以在线内插出高质量的等高线,操作很方便. 本算法
已经用 Visuai C + + 编程实现,并已插入我国自主开发的大型软件产品———方正智绘地图出版系统中.

Abstract This paper presents a contours interpoiation aigorithm used in map edition,which is to generate
some new contours according to the existing ones. First,the basic aigorithm is given. Second,the approaches
for distinguishing contour extending direction,handing ciose contour iine,and considering the branching from
one contour to muitipie contours,are presented. The aigorithm is so practicai that even those piex sit-
uations appearing in practice can be properiy handied. In the process of interpoiation,the prior knowiedge of
contours is used sufficientiy,s
