Now climbing Mount Everest is not as difficult as 50 years May 1,1963,Jim Whittaker became the first American to reach the top of the world,climbing the Southeast Ridge (山脊).Only NawangGombu,a local villager climbed with him.
Three weeks after that climbing,Americans Hornbein and Willi Unsoeld climbed the West the same day, Barry Biship and Lute Jerstad made the second American climbing of the
Southeast Ridge.
Unlike in 1963,when only six people reached the top,in the spring of 2012 more than 500
reached the I arrived at the top on May 25,it was so crowded that I couldn’t find a place to so many climbers had been caught in a storm,most of them would have died.
Climbing Mount Everest has always been difficult,but now that almost 4,000 people have
reached its top,some more than once,the action means less than it did half a century ,
many of the climbers on Mount Everest worked for groups of new lead the way for
new visitors and help them in many other ways.
The top of Mount Everest is not only crowded but also seriously you talk to the
people who know it best,they will tell you it is time to do something to protect Mount Everest.
