GIS-Based Mine work and safety Analysis Huide Liu and Dabing Yang Hebei Engineering University I. INTRODUCTION The mineral well of the coal is mined with underground mining, under which has formed a lot plicated and connected spaces. These spaces consists of mining place(work face)、every kind of drift and tunnel. The cross-sections of these tunnels have different shapes and sizes、all kinds of slopes and integration. Under the well, the tunnels and related facilities constitute a work system , namely work sys(a ) tem[1]. A lot of poisonous gas has been produced in coal mine process, for example GAS, these poisonous gas will be detained in the whole space under the well such partment、tunnels、work place etc.。 For being engaged in the work safely under the well, these poisonous gases must be piped from underground space to outside, namely exhausting gas. The tunnels that are used to piped gas are also called the work system under the well, which posed of every kind of tunnel、node(regulator) and ventilation facility. The elements in work have every kind of parameter, for example the area of the tunnel section、ventilation resistance、tunnel slope、the supporting method、integrity degree、tunnel use esc. Obviously, the tunnel system of the mine is the material foundation that supports the mineral mountain produce, and work that posed of the mine ventilation system guarantees safety produce. The system provides the circulation channels of material, product, personnel for the mine. These data can present with work datum, and e the data source of GIS spatial analysis. The geographical information system established in underground mining helps to analyze the spatial property of every kind of object, especially to analyze the spatial property of ventilation system and related technique index signs, for example the most short-circuit path of ventilation、 the work optimization analysis、the ventilation facilities rationality analysis etc. Establishing the mineral mountain geogra
