摘    要:
明清时期, 随着运河的疏通, 位于卫河与运河交汇处的临清凭借其优越的地理条件迅速崛起, 发展成为江北五大商埠之一, 且繁荣兴盛长达500年之久。究其原因, 除了藉运河之便的地理条件优势之外, 当时的其他因素, 如明成祖迁都北京而大兴漕运, 在临清建仓储粮、设关收税, 明清两代政府推行的一系列促进商业和手工业发展的政策等是决定其盛衰的根本原因。

Abstract:
With the Canal dredging in Ming and Qing Dynasties, Linqing—a town which located in the confluence of Wei River and Beijing-Hangzhou Canal rise one of the mercial port cities in north of China and Continued prosperity for a 500-year factors of prosperity of Linqing in addition to geographical advantage, the other factors are fundamental reason of Linqing's as Yongle emperor moved the capital to Beijing, built granary and set up the tax authorities, the Ming and Qing government implemented a series of policies to promote the development merce and handicraft industry, etc.
