1. I’ve heard that the SPCA needs some money to take care of homeless animals in our city.
(1) have heard (现完) 已经听说……

这里的foods 泛指“各种各样的食品”,一般情况下,food不可数。
3. That’ll be fun. 那会是有趣的事。
fun 不可数名词
再强调一遍,前后文在说“进行某个活动”事,总是使用“fun”,包括:
It + be + (great) fun to do sth.
→ funny (adj.) 有趣的= interesting
主要用来修饰如:影片/卡通画/故事等等“事物/人物”。

(1) ask sb. (not) to do sth. 请某人/要某人(不)去做某事
(2) help sb. (to) do sth. 帮助某人(去)做某事

(写在左边)这里的“sb.”都是用宾语(格)。
(3) 使役动词 let sb. (not) do sth. 让某人(不)做某事(后面动词用原形,没有to)
(4) 建议句型:
Let’s do sth., (shall we?)
Shall we do sth.?
Why not do sth.?
Why don’t we do sth.? (如果是别的主语时,替换去we)
What about / How about (doing) sth.? (about是“介词”,所以后接名词,
