对于《论语》的研究可以划分为国内和国外两部分,覆盖领域包括文学研究、语言研究和翻译研究等方面。在对本书语言的研究方面,尽管国内外学者对《论语》隐喻的研究获得了巨大的成果,但是其中大部分的研究仍然采用传统的修辞学手法,仅在文字层面探析隐喻,很难揭示隐喻背后的认知机制,反映隐喻的认知过程,无法揭示《论语》隐喻所反映的内部概念结构,从而无法体现隐喻思维教化的认知功能。
莱可夫的认知隐喻理论把隐喻看作是跨域映射,是人们理解抽象概念和进行抽象推理的主要机制。本研究考察了认知隐喻理论的两个重要原则:恒定原则和蕴含等级。隐喻映射遵循恒定原则,即源域的意象图示结构在保持与目标域内部结构一致的情况下投射到目标域上。而蕴含等级指出隐喻映射不是相互孤立的, 相反,它们有时呈现出一种等级层次结构,“低级’’的映射继承了“上级”的映
射结构。此外,莱可夫的理想化认知模式理论有助于分析在特定文化中的隐喻认知模式,通过这一研究手段,可以分析概念隐喻具体的认知创作机制和环境。
通过运用认知语言学方法来分析《论语》中的隐喻,本文从概念隐喻理论及理想化认知模式出发对书中的一些重要的教化隐喻做了认知分析。这些隐喻包括“为政以德,如北辰居其所而众星拱之”,“岁寒,然后知松柏之后凋也",“君子之德风,小人之德草;草上之风,必偃",及“战战兢兢,如临深渊,如履薄冰”。借助恒定原则,蕴含等级原则和理想化认知模式,本文仔细分析了这些隐喻的源域、目标域的范围,并利用意向图示原理分析了这些隐喻结构的成因,推导出自
然和宇宙在中国古代人们认知模式中的重要性,最后解释了这些概念隐喻之所以经久不衰,广为传播的深层原因。这为我们重新审视《论语》中的隐喻提供了新的视角。

The studies on The Analects can be divided into domestic and overseas studies, covering the aspects of literary research,linguistic research,translations and SO on. Although great achievements have been made by the scholars at home and abroad in the studies on the language of The Analects,the approach of most of the studies in this field remains the traditional one,.,the rhetoric studies explore the metaphors merely from the rhetoric perspective,thus can hardly reveal the implied
