Nanxun is located in north of Jiaxing-Huzhou Plain, south of the provincial [prəu'vinʃəl] capital Hangzhou, north Taihu Lake, east of Paradise Suzhou, Wuxi across the lake and the sea, directly on West Nanjing. Nanxun is located in southern Jiangsu, Zhejiang and gold to the north.
It is found in the territory of the Hongseong Nanxun, Flower City, and other ancient cultural sites proved, as early as the Neolithic [,ni:əu'liθik] Age, primitive tribal society to thrive in this. Historically, Nanxun affiliation vary widely. 据南浔区境内发现的洪城、花城、上石等古文化遗址证明,早在新石器时代,原始社会氏族部落就在此繁衍生息。历史上,南浔隶属关系变化很大。
