Abstract:Objective To investigate the role chemokine R5)in the immunological pathogenesis of hepatitis B(HB).Methods The expression levels R5in peripheral blood mononuclear cell(PBMC)were assayed by flow cytometry before and after PHA-induced cultivation in20HB patients and20normal controls(NC).Results Before cultivation, there was no discrepancy R5level between NC and HB(P>).After R5was obviously lowered in NC group(P<),but insignificantly in HB group(P>),with the slightly R5levels in an or-der as AHB>CHB> was also noticed that R5level was lower in the HB patients positive for HBV duplicating markers than that in those who were negative(P<).R5expression level in PMBC may be related to the e of HB,and higher levels R5suggest relatively favorable prognosis and limit HBV replication.
