ABSTRACT Data exchange is one ofthemain influencing factors ofdevelopment ofeme印nses goal is to realize the sharing of the data inthe heterogeneous environment(100se coupling,different data format,heterogeneous plattom, heterogeneous area, and SO on),thus utilizes resources effectively, improves the pe南肌ance ofthewhole application system,accelerates data circulation ofinformation svstem,and realizes the sharing and integration various exchange technologies have many problems when apply to heterogeneous environments·mon question includes heavy coupling,high costs plicated implementing· The emergence ofXML technology has brought the new implementation method·Thls paper targets as dataexchange based heterogeneous environment and one generaI heterogeneous dataexchange modle isdesigned andimplemeuted by thetechnology of XML删s thesisfirstlypresents theknowledge ofXML,discusses therelatedtheory ot data exchange of heterogeneous database,analyzes the traditional data exchange methods and problems,discusses technology related tothe heterogeneous database itanalyzes thepossibility ofXML based dataexchange from the 2Lspects ofschema binding ofXML and thesupport of thetypical database products to ,it develops aXML basedthree_layer model forimplementing dataexchange ofheterogeneous asolving schema fortheproblems of dataexchange ofheterogeneous database andimplements thedataexchange between Oracle database andSQL Server 2000 database byusing JAVA API、JDBC through XML under theJ2EE environment. Finally,practical application ofXML-based heterogeneous dataexchange model in enterprises feasibility ofmodel framework iscertified inpractice,and thedefects and furtherimprovement ofthesystem arepointed out.
