A given topic is very often related to the general theme of the passage you have heard previously. For example, the passage may describe someone’s miserable life in his/her early childhood, and the topic you are required to talk about is one happy incident in your childhood. After you have heard the given topic spoken in the test tape twice, you have three minutes to prepare your talk. Your talk is limited to three minutes.
