Step I Lead- in
Watch a video about modern Yueyang.
Step II Presentation
T: Just now, we watch a video about Yueyang now. But do you know what Yueyang was like ten years ago? Let’s look at some pictures. It was very old and there weren’t any tall buildings. Can you make some predictions about Yueyang in ten years?
Then show some pictures, and students learn sentences:
What’s your prediction about the future?
There will be more buildings / buses.
fewer cars / trees.
less water / pollution.
People will have robots at home.
Kids will study at home.
Everything will be free.
Step III Reading
Read after a little teacher.
Read in groups.
Step IV Chain drill
Everyone makes a prediction and then works in groups to say it one by one. The group which finishes most quickly is the winner.
