According original designed, roll changing car was moved bya chain system and a ratchet system. The process was plicated and it spends a lotof time on roll er changing. After it was redesigned , roll er changing time was shortened and efficiency was highly improved. This paper outlines the development of domestic and international situation of the roll ing car and its development direction. I mainly design ed rolling car for PC main roller mill. Itu sed motor to provide electrical power so that s procket on the output shaft of reducer can roll on the sprocket fixed chain . So rolling car could move along the orbit.
