First of all,the application of radio location technology to cellular subscribers mobile system isintroduced and several widely used wirelesslOCationschemes ale discussed. Secondly,the mathematical model of TDOA hyperbolic equations is established,two locationalgorithms based ontime-difference-of-arrival(TDOA), Chan andTaylor algorithms,are analyzed indetail,the maintechnical difficulties and theapproaches ofimproving macy arealsoanalyzed Thirdly,the constrained weighted leastsquares algorithm based on TDOA is puter simulations are conducted toevaluate theperformance ofthe proposed TDOA-based locationalgorithm paring with the other two algorithms and performance oftheCWLS method outperforms the othertwoalgorithms and approaches theCRLB. Fourthly,the data fusion model proposed by Kleine-Ostmann formobile position estimation isinvestigated ingreat on thismodel,a mended data fusionmodel thismodel,the second and fourthdatafusion obey fusion ruleofthemodel isanalyzed and its effectiveness toimprove thelocationperformance isdemonstrated by simulation.
