This study selects the most representative province in the southern Thailand一一一Krabiprovince toinvestigate theThai’native Chinese teachers’ quality ofteaching Chinese,their knowledge structure ofChinese language, and theirwills toparticipate inthetraining on improving Chinese ability and Chinese order tohelp thelocalThai—Chinese teachers’ on—the-job training inthe next fewyears,based on theresults oftheabove research,this thesiswillpropose aChinese teacher trainingprogram which issupposed tobeapplicable and feasible fortheseThai native Chinese teachers inKrabi province aswell asteachers who are under thesimilar conditions inother provinces ofsouthern thesame time,to help the sustainable development ofChinese languoge education in southern Thailand,this study willalso present some opinions and suggestions—on how to improve those teachers’Chinese professional quality in aprimary andelementary schoollevel.
