e phonological system of the old from the Han nationality with data from field surveys and literature surveys. Foucing on initials, finals and tones of CUD, it is to make a table of coordinating of the initial, final and tone and perfect the homonym table of CUD .
In the field of initials, the study analyzes CUD’s 18 initials, makes a contrast with the mediaeval times initials and comes to a conclusion that zhi group, zhuang group and zhang group initials coordinate with jing group hong tones, the people in this area pronouce [? ?? s].
Regard of the finals, the study analyzes CUD’s 36 finals’ synchronic features and diachronic evolvement and comes to a conclusion that front nasal consonant [-n] disappear, the yang rhyme of the mediaeval times including xian she, shan she, dang she,

jiang she come to convergence , and make shen she, zhen she, zeng she, geng she, tong she together too. All of these turn into [-?], and now these are back nasal finals.
In the respect of tones, the study describes CUD’s six tones, makes a comparison with the mediaeval times tones. Based on that, the article pays more attention to the ru sheng. Through the analysis of the vanishment of tail vowel of rushing and the appearance of tail vowel of rushing, it comes to a develop tendency of ru sheng and comes to a conclusion that the ru rhyme’s tail vowel will not disappear for a long time.
