rected equation should make the design of MEMWT mechanisms more valuable for small
devices or microdevices with two crossed shafts under load.

1. Introduction
Chen et al. [1–5] have researched a novel mechanical wheel transmission mechanism which could be used for mechanical
transmission under conditions of low power. The working principle of the novel transmission mechanism is based on the
combined action of a random meshing force and the frictional force of elastic tines on meshing wheels, so that fluctuation
of the force and velocity would be inevitable during transmission.
To e the deficiencies of the novel mechanical wheel transmission mentioned in [1–5], Chen et al. [6–9] have in-
vented and researched another novel transmission mechanism based on a space curve meshing equation, which was named
the micro-elastic meshing wheel transmission (MEMW
