　　一天一个人去参与拍卖。他相中了一只鹦鹉，他真的很想要这只鸟儿，于是他在竞价中紧紧跟着。他始终出价，出得比别人都高，最终，价格一路水涨船高。
　　Finally, after he bid way more than he intended, he won the bid - the parrot was his at last!
　　在出到比预想要高得多得的价格后，他赢了这次竞价，鹦鹉最终是他的了!



　　As he was paying for the parrot, he said to the Auctioneer, I sure hope this parrot can talk. I would hate to have paid this much for it, only to find out that he cant talk!
　　他去付钱时对拍卖人说，我盼望这只鹦鹉必须要会说话。假如出了这么高的价，它还不能说话的话，我确定会很难受的。
　　Dont worry. said the Auctioneer, He can talk. Who do you think kept bidding against you?
