Part I Writing (15%, 30 minutes)
Part II prehensions (Skimming
and Scanning) (10%, 15 minutes)
● a long passage (about 1,200 words)

NG—for Not GIVEN)

(35%, 35 minutes)
● 8 short conversations & 2 long
conversations (15%)
● 3 passages (10%)
● compound dictation (10%)
Part IV prehension (Reading
in Depth) (25%, 25 minutes)

答(Short Answer Questions)
●选择题型的篇章阅读理解(2 passages)

三、四级应试的几点建议
Words are first things first.
It is the basic requirement for the CET4 candidates to try to learn all the words in the CET4 word list ( about 4,500 words, including 1,700 key words)
2. Skills acquired and speed improved are two important contributions to your ess in the test.
3. Good knowledge of grammar plays an
important role in prehension,
writing & translating and error correction.
Four clues for grammar learning:

1) 时态------语态------非谓语动词(不定式、
分词、动名词)
2)定语从句------分词
状语从句------分词
3)虚拟语气------名词性从句(主语从句
宾语从句
表语从句
同位语从句)
4)倒装、一致(主谓一致、代词一致
