Imaginative works such as novels, plays, films, fairy tales, and legends present a more accurate and meaningful picture of human experience than do factual accounts. Because the creators of fiction shape and focus reality rather than report on it literally, their creations have a more lasting significance.
Do imaginative art works hold longer lasting influences than simple documentary works due to the points the speakers hold? To some extent the speaker exaggerated the meaning novels relatively hold. On balance, I personally prefer to agree with the speaker. Through reexamine human experiences on various aspects, an imaginative work could add meaning to the era in which it is created, and provoke deeper understanding of that certain era. Although an imaginative novel is pure fantasy and doesn’t contain any historical background at all, it still holds significance that lasts longer than factual accounts. The example from literature and movies proved this point vividly/ illustrate these points.
