【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the cardioprotection and its mechanism of simvastatin on cardiomyocyte apoptosis induced by endoplasmic reticulum stress in rats Tale ly divided into three groups:normal control group (n=8,fed al diet),high fat group (n=8,fed!vastatin group(n=8,fed vastatin 10mg·kg-1·d-1 by gastric irrigation).After t triglycerides (TG) and cholesterol (TC) levels ined by pletely automatic biochemistry pathological changes of myocardial tissue yocytes of myocardial tissue ic reticulum stress (ERS) associated molecleglucose regulated protEIn (GRP) 78 in myocardial tissue munohistochemistry and RT pared al control group,the serum TG and TC levels,and the numbers of apoptotic cardiomyocytes as RNA in myocardial tissue TG and TC levels,and the numbers of apoptotic cardiomyocytes as RNA in myocardial tissue arkably reduced in simvastatin group but still higher than those in normal control group (all P<).Conclusions The hyperlipidemia can induce myocardiocyte apoptosis through activating ERS signaling pathvastatin can inhibit the myocardocyet apoptosis induced by hyperlipidemia through amelioration of ERS.
