1. I have to remind myself constantly that I am really in AD 3008. 我得不断提醒自己, 我已到了公元3008年。
remind sb. of/about sth. 使某人想起某事
The song always reminds me of my childhood.
remind sb. to do sth 提醒某人做某事
Remind me to answer the letter.
2. Worried about the journey, I was unsettled for the first few days.
我很担心这次旅行, 所以头几天心里总是不踏实。
worried about the journey 为过去分词作状语,在此处作原因状语(=As I was worried about the journey)。
从山顶看,公园看上去更美(时间)
(when the park is) Seen from the top of the hill, the park looks more beautiful.
如果再给一些时间我们就可以成功的完成这项工作。(条件)
(if we are) Given more time, we can finish the work essfully.
虽然比赛失利了,但是我们不会放弃(让步)
(though we were) Beaten in the match, we wouldn’t give up.

结果我得了时间滞后症。
as a result 因此,结果+句子
as a result of =because of
由于……+ 短语
It snowed, as a result, she was late.
result from 起因于……
result in 导致某事,造成某事(=lead to)

他父母的公司叫“未来之旅”,,平安的把我送入了未来。
Well-known for…
= His parents’ company was well-known for….
6. as though/ if 似乎,好像
1)从句用陈述语气,表示真实情况或极有可能发生的情况
It sounds/ looks as if it’s going to rain.
He talks as if he is drunk.
2)从句用虚拟语气,表示与事实相反
与现在事实相反,谓语动词用过去时,be动词用were
She loves the boy as if she were his mother.
You look as if you didn’t care.
与过去事实相反,谓语动词用had+ 过去分词。
他谈起罗马就好像他去过那里似的
He talks about Rome as if he had been there before.
He remembered everything as if had happened yesterday.
3) 省略,as if+介词短语/to do/分词/名词
He opened his mouth as if to say sth.
He acted as if a fool.
5. I felt better in no time.
我立刻感到舒服多了。
in no time: very quickly 立刻,马上
They will be back in no time.
