摘要
进入21世纪以来,全球的生态环境日益恶化,人类逐渐意识到可持续发展的重要性,保护环境、保障人类健康已经受到全世界的关注。在全球追求“绿色环保”的大背景下,酒店业作为旅游行业的三大支柱产业之一,对保护环境和合理利用资源所做的努力直接关系到旅游业的发展,并且对能否实现可持续发展社会将产生重大影响。90年代,世界进入了“环保时代”、“绿色时代”。绿色时代的到来对世界经济发展产生巨大影响,酒店业也不例外。人们在生产和消费过程中,越来越关注资源与环境保护。虽然旅游酒店不像能耗大、污染严重的重工业给生态和生物带来严重的破坏,但也会给环境带来程度不同的隐性或显性的污染及资源浪费。本文将借鉴大量文献和以广州新世纪机场酒店在环保发展方面存在的问题,对其发展现状及不足进行分析并提出相应的改善方案,意在推动我国酒店业环保化发展的进程。
