教学重点和难点:Important and difficult points: To enable the students to get a general idea of what the text is about. 了解本课大意

I.  Warming up
responses:
1. What’s the weather like today? 7. What’s the answer of 9 plus 4?
2. What’s the date today? 8. What’s the answer of 9
minus 3
3.       What day is it today? 9. How much is 3 multiplied by 7?
4.       Happy birthday to you. 10. What’s the answer of 12
divided by 4?
5.       I have lost my watch. you explain the word “develop” in English?
a nice weekend. 12. If you don’t know how to use a word, what will you do?

II Presentation:
1. Picture ,提高学生的学****兴趣,问题切入:
What do you know about? Do you know anything about dinosaurs,
Diogenes and Walt Disney?
2. Ask students to look at the pictures and try plete the exercise.
III: Short stories.
