Abstract: Besides neural stem cells, bone marrow or other derived mesenchymal stem cells, olfactory ensheathing cells, embryonic stem cells, and umbilical cord blood stem cells, the skin or adipose tissues-derived stem cells, Schwann cells, glial cells and fibroblasts can also be transplanted to treat spinal cord injury
