摘要
基层警力不足一直困扰着公安工作的开展,随着社会经济的迅速发展,许多方面的社会矛盾未能得到有效解决,人口流动的总量和频率不断增加等原因,使得治安案件和刑事案件频发,给社会治安秩序带来了严重的挑战,警力不足特别是基层公安机关警力不足的问题显得突出,已制约着公安机关职能的发挥。
我国当前警力不足的问题并不是公安机关自身的原因,也不是最近几年才出现的问题,而是由各种复杂的因素所造成的。警力不足已影响到了我国国家安全和社会的稳定。本文试对当前我国警力不足的现状及原因进行思考,欲寻求改善之策。

Abstract
Basic-level police shortage has been plagued by public security work development, along with the rapid development of social economy, floating population quantity, and frequency increases ceaselessly. Public security case and criminal cases happened frequently, give public order brought serious challenges. The problem of insufficient basic-level police appear prominent. And Even restricts the public an function display.
Our current grassroots police the problem of insufficient and not the public an itself reasons, and this Nor has emerged in recent years, but the problem by all kinds plicated social factors of the decision. Basic-level police insufficient affected our country's economic and social development, national security and social stability. This paper tries to current situation and police insufficient reason is analyzed, and put forward the countermeasures.
