Abstract: munication is an essential factor to essful
munication. With China’s entry into the WTO, munication
between Chinese culture and Western cultures will e to its climax.
Consequently, it es urgent to realize the importance of munication
and get a mand of it for every Chinese, especially for college students.
In this thesis, analysis and discussions have been done based on a survey carried
out in Shenzhen University. 100 questionnaires pleted by 100 students, 30
students are from English Department, and the others are from other departments.
Results of the survey have shown that munication study in Shenzhen
University has not received sufficient attention and needs to be enhanced. The
implement of effective munication study requires efforts of both the
students and the school administration.
