摘要:经济增长是解决就业问题的基本前提,经济增长与就业增长的关系也一直引人关注。一般来说,经济增长与就业增长之间存在着一定的正相关关系,即经济的增长可以带动就业率的相应增长。然而,在中国,尤其是20世纪90年代以来,伴随高经济增长率出现的却是下岗工人的不断涌现,就业弹性系数一直处在不断的波动之中。原因何在?本文正是通过分析中国1978-2003年间的实际经济形势,试图从理论和实证两个方面来揭示经济增长与就业增长的关系,并提出进一步提高经济增长就业弹性的政策建议。
