Abstract Books are important means of thought communication, knowledge transmission and culture accumulation of mankind. Childhood is a key ‘characterization’ stage in the life, which needs the children’s books of distinct image, vivid color; full of child interest and actively upwards with significant effect for the growth of children. It’s a severe issue for us to design novel children’s books with rich content and creative from psychology and physiology of children. This text combines children’s psychology, aesthetic education and the like to research the entity of decoration design of children’s books, which analyzes the characteristic of decoration design of children’s book of different stages briefly and makes designer grasp the design direction accurately and entirely. The common design skill and means of decoration of children’s book has been induced to connect theory with practice. The text prospects the development tendency of the design of children’s book, which enriches front edge properties.
