· Problems Existing in the Status Quo ·
- Proposition -
  1. One child policy in China makes parents put a lot of efforts upon children, but children don’t pay back correspondingly, thus a lot of parents are being left over.
  2. Lack of well-established nursing houses for the elderly in the society.
  3. Parents have stereotypical idea towards nursing houses and a high expectation on their children, thus they are not willing to go there. 
- Opposition -
  1. Children live in families which are randomly determined by birth lottery, some of them even live in a coercive family condition.
  2. Family emotional bond is enough, there is no necessity for this policy, thus government side doesn’t have to go that far by making it into a law.
· Possible model ·
  Make filial responsibility laws a Civil law, once children violated, they would be sued and fined, the monetary responsibility requires the money they give their parents should be proportionate to the salary or the money their parents have spent on them before; the caring responsibility requires a nationalized quota about the time children should spend with their parents.
· Arguments
