二：世界各国的轨道交通发展情况
1863年世界上第一条地下铁道于1月10日在伦敦建成。开始是采用蒸汽机车牵引。1881年第一辆有轨电车在德国柏林工业博览会上展示。1888年美国弗吉尼亚州里士满市世界上第一条有轨电车系统投入运行。1908年中国第一条有轨电车在上海建成通车。1969年中国第一条地铁北京地铁一期工程当年10月建成。1978年在比利时国际公共交通联合会上，确定了新型有轨电车交通的统一名称，简称轻轨交通（LRT）。 据粗略统计，到目前已有50个国家建有360条轻轨线路。
　　二战后经过短暂的经济恢复后，地下铁道建设随着全世界经济起飞而启动、加快。二十世纪70年代和80年代是各国地下铁道建设的高峰。发达国家的主要大城市如纽约、华盛顿、芝加哥、伦敦、巴黎、柏林、东京、莫斯科等已基本完成了地铁网络的建设。但后起的中等发达国家和地区，特别是发展中国家地铁建设却方兴未艾。比如亚洲共有26个城市有地下铁道。除了东京与大阪在二次大战前就建有地下铁道外，其余城市均是在战后建成。

德国:磁悬浮技术是起源于德国，早在1922年德国工程师赫尔曼·肯佩尔就提出了电磁悬浮原理，并于1934年申请了磁悬浮列车的专利。1970年代以后，随着世界工业化国家经济实力的不断加强，为提高交通运输能力以适应其经济发展的需要，德国、日本，美国，英国等发达国家相继开始筹划进行磁悬浮运输系统的开发。
磁悬浮列车有许多优点：列车在铁轨上方悬浮运行，铁轨与车辆不接触，不但运行速度快，能超过500 千米/小时，而且运行平稳、舒适，易于实现自动控制；无噪音，不排出有害的废气，有利于环境保护；可节省建设经费；运营、维护和耗能费用低。它是21 世纪理想的超级特别快车，世界各国都十分重视发展磁悬浮列车。
