Abstract
:An iodine-doped BiOCl photocatalyst was successfully prepared by a simple solvothermal
as-prepared samples were analyzed and characterized by X ray diffraction,scanning
electron microscope,ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflection,and photoluminescence emission spectra.
The photocatalytic performance of as-prepared samples was evaluated by degradation of rhodamine B
under visible results showed that the photocatalytic activity of all iodine-doped BiOCl
samples was better than that of pure BiOCl. When the doping amount of iodine was 4%, the
photocatalytic performance was the best,and the removal rate of RhB reached 9 9 % in 45
doping of iodine broadened the light response range of bismuth oxychloride,promoted the separat
