一、语篇教学的概念
所谓“语篇”,即discourse。《牛津高阶英语双解词典》中解释为:“the use of language in speech or writing in order to produce meaning”。
任何以特定文体整体呈现的语言材料的教学,在广义上都是语篇教学。
阅读教学?
阅读:阅读是从视觉材料中获取信息的过程。
阅读是从写的或印的语言符号中取得意义的一种心理过程。
阅读教学:在教师指导下的学生阅读实践活动。
最简单的英语对话材料也应该放在语篇教学的高度去对待和处理。
对话体裁的语篇材料包括了几个话轮
“Hello,";
2.“What's your name?”话轮的转换;
3.“My name’s John.”对上一话轮的承接;
在触及具体小学英语课文教学的内容时,有人往往认为只有那种典型的英语文章的教学才算是语篇教学,短篇幅的语言材料或对话教学的语言材料不能作为语篇进行教学。这种看法是错误的。因为语篇的表现形式既可以是“书面语”,也可以是“口语”。
主要任务:基于“任务型语言教学”的一般要求,以阅读语篇为基本形式,在培养和发展学生的阅读理解力(获取信息、整理信息、处理信息、加工和利用信息的能力)和英语语篇阅读技巧的同时,“使他们在学****过程中发展综合语言运用能力,提高人文素质,增强实践能力,培养创新精神”(中华人民共和国教育部,2001)。
