摘��要�

会展旅游是当前一种新兴的旅游形式,因其巨大的经济效益和社
会效益而被称为“旅游皇冠上的宝石”,具有良好的发展前景,成为
目前旅游开发和旅游学术研究的热点。
本文总结了国内外会展旅游的发展历程,同时也揭示了会展旅游
的内涵、特征、类型;并运用相应的分析方法对乌鲁木齐会展旅游发
展进行研究。
本文对乌鲁木齐发展会展旅游的条件与现状进行了 PEST 和
SWOT 分析。一方面,通过 PEST 分析法,从政治法律、经济、社会
文化、技术、自然等方面对乌鲁木齐开展会展旅游的基础条件进行系
统分析;另一方面,运用 SWOT 分析法,通过将乌鲁木齐和其它城
市进行对比,分析了乌鲁木齐目前发展会展旅游所具有的优势、劣势
和面临的机遇与威胁。
在此基础上,探讨了将乌鲁木齐建设成为会展胜地所需进行的城
市形象的设计、树立、维系和更新。结合实际提出了乌鲁木齐会展旅
游发展的总体思路、发展战略;最后提出促进乌鲁木齐会展旅游发展
的具体对策。

ABSTRACT

MICE, one of the prevalent tourism types, having great economic and
social potentiality and favorable development prospects, is called "gem
on the imperial crown" and has e a spotlight of tourism
development and tourism academic research.
This paper researches and concludes the development process of
MICE in home and abroad. And on the foundation of studying the
definition of MICE, this paper reveals some inner characteristics of MICE,
such as significance, features, types ;then take relevant measures to
analyze the development of Urumqi MICE tourism.
This paper analyzes synthetically the PEST and SWOT for actualities
and conditions of Urumqi MICE tourism. At one hand, analyzing
synthetically the PEST, the paper analyzes the basical conditions about
the development Urumqi MICE tourism from some aspects, such as
politics and laws, economy, society and culture, technology, nature. On
the other hand, this paper analyzes systematically the SWOT of Urumqi
and points out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of
Urumqi MICE tourism .
Based on that, in order to construct Urumqi as a famous country for
MICE tourism, the paper discuss how to design、erect、hold together、
