This is the machine for testing the hairiness of yarns
YG171B-2 Yarn hairiness tester
There exist three shapes about hairiness of yarns.
End of hairiness: fiber ends out of the yarn base surface of the subject , while the rest inside the core-yarn.
Planktonic Hairiness: stick to a surface or other loose fibers on the Hairiness of Yarns or wild fibers.
Loop Hairiness: within the core of both ends of the fiber into yarns, yarn showed middle basic surface, forming a ring or rings.
Yarn Hairiness measurement :
Yarn Hairiness measurement according to the measuring principle is divided into: laws on Visual, photographic, gravimetric, optical method, and image analysis approach currently used is more electro-optical .
Causes of yarn Hairiness :
1. raw material :Fiber types and characteristics such as length, fineness, flexural rigidity and torsion stiffness as well as raw materials containing short fiber content, trash content directly, such as yarn Hairiness
2. spinning processes :Different methods of spin
