The study on language attitude is crucial for the definition of a munity, and it’s important in the analysis of how the people's attitude constraining the language learning and use within munities of standard language and dialect language, and how to restrict the direction of the evolution of dialects. In addition, the study of language attitudes also has an important theoretical significance on language planning theory and language policy making.
