一、正确的方向
（一）必考词义
1. impossibly=very
It is an impossibly unpopular behavior. → 这是一个非常不受欢迎的行为。
behavior
unseemly 不雅的=unethical 不道德的 →ethical 有道德的
unseemly →decent 优雅的（反义词）
礼貌的：courtesy=decent
Eg. As a courtesy to the next passenger, may we suggest that you wipe off the wash basin.
为了方便下一个乘客，我们建议你清洁洗手池。
fashion policy/laws
优秀的 = brilliant, great, well accepted → mediocre 一般、平庸
exceptional child 智障
、contrast、comparison
（1）compare v. 比较（找出相同点） contrast （找出相同点）
（2）词性：contrast、comparison为名词

（1）intelligence ；智商；情报 →指“智力、智商”时特指天生的/先天的智力
Central Intelligence Agency （美国）中央情报局，简称CIA
（2）intellectual →指后天从知识中获得的智力
intellect ；智力
intellectual property 知识产权；
intellectualism → anti-intellectualism反智主义（“智”指后天知识）
☆：后缀“ism”表示“……主义；……论”

passion（***）, work（刻苦）, focus（专注）, push（强迫）, ideas（点子）, improve（精通）, serve（服务）,persist（坚持） ——《》
eg. weather financial crisis 克服金融危机

optimism 乐观 → pessimism 悲观
