Study onAgriculturalIndustrialization Strategy in Weifang City Abstract Weifang is the first to put forward agricultural industrialization strategy in 1993, and is the resource of agriculture industrialization in China. The crop p roduction, fowls breeding industry, fruit industry and aquatic products industry are in thnational front now. Weifang has created various pattern inagriculture industrialization, for example, taking Zhucheng as the representative’s base pat tern; taking Shouguang as the representative’s market pulling pattern; taking Ha nting as the representative’s one town one industry, one village one brand patte rn; taking Anqiu as the representative’s well known brand to foreign exchange- earning pattern. Moreover, there are Kuiwen’s agriculture tourism pattern, agric ultural technology park pattern, Changle’s agriculture standardization pattern and Gaomi’s regional farming-culturing-processing pattern. Developing about 20 years, agricultural industrialization in Weifang has got great achievement. But many problems e out inagricultural industriali zation. Firstly, leading enterprises need to be more stronger. Secondly, the mark et system is not perfect; the anization degree is low; thirdly, the inte nsive processing ability is bad and the benefit is low; fourthly, the product’s q uality and safe level is not high; fifthly, agricultural technology is low, and agr icultural technology talent is short; sisthly, peasant’s culture and quality is low. All these problems restrict the development of agricultural industrialization in Weifang. Countermeasures should be taken to deepening the agricultural industrialization based on the reality of Weifang. Firstly, strengthen the government’s guide and police support; secondly, make the leading enterprise biggerand powerful; thirdly, perfect and develop economical anization;fourthly, carry out standardized production; fifthly, perfect the market of agricultural product; sixthly, make the mode of industria
