Arts Pan Tianshou's Inheritance and Innovation on Chinese Paintings Candidate : Yan Shuai Supervisor : Prof. He Zhipu Academic Degree Applied for : Master Degree of Arts Speciality : Arts University : Hebei University Date of Oral Examination : May,2013 摘要 I 摘要在 20 世纪初,中华传统的绘画艺术受到西方文化的强烈冲击,在这个大的背景下潘天寿自觉地进行了理智的思考,坚持传统并积极地进行创作实践,强调艺术的民族性、继承性和时代性。潘天寿在选择传统的同时,吸取了古人的绘画精华,并结合自身的人品和学养,形成了自己的绘画风格,将山水与花鸟进行了有机的结合,大胆的突破了传统的绘画理念,开创了一个新的绘画模式。他还将中国传统绘画和西方绘画进行了比较分析,指出中国传统绘画内部所存在的问题。对潘天寿的研究,有助于我们对当今艺术的发展方向有了更清楚的认识。本文从“继承与革新”这个角度来研究潘天寿对中国传统绘画所作出的贡献,通过理论与实践相结合的方式,指出潘天寿对传统绘画革新的原因,全文采用比较分析和综合归纳的方法,结合中国传统文化、外来文化和潘天寿绘画风格三个方面的因素来展开深入研究,以便进一步认识潘天寿对现代中国画发展的价值和意义。论文首先从潘天寿对中国传统艺术的传承入手,从中国绘画艺术、中国绘画的形式语言两方面展开论述,通过分析中国传统绘画所面临的困境,揭示潘天寿对中国传统绘画艺术的继承。其次,进一步论述潘天寿对中国传统绘画的形式语言的革新。分别从潘天寿绘画的艺术构思,以及艺术实践中的笔线、墨色、造型、构图等形式绘画语言进行由表及里、循序渐进地分析论述,并与古人进行比较,全面、客观地分析潘天寿绘画特点。再次从意境和审美情怀这个角度出发,分析他在继承前人的基础上又有了哪些突破。最后主要是研究潘天寿的绘画艺术对今后中国画的发展的影响和启示两个方面来展开。肯定他的绘画艺术成就及贡献,同时又正确的认识继承与革新的关系,更好的继承发扬中国传统绘画艺术。关键词: 潘天寿中国画继承革新 Abstract II Abstract In the beginning of 20th century, Chinese tr aditional painting ar t suffered great shock by Western culture. With this background, Pa n Tianshou carried on the rational thinking, adhering to tradition and practi ced actively, he emphasized the national, inheritance and epochal character of art. Pan Tianshou chose the traditional wa y, in the meantime, he also absorbed the essences of the ancient paintings , thus he formed his own style of painting combined with his character and knowledge. In his style, he made landscape, flowers and birds integrated, broke thr ough the traditional concept of painting, and created a new painting mode.
