2022年5月进驻现场开始开展工作，在苍溪县委、县政府领导下，在县规划和建设局的直接参与配合及县各相关部门单位的大力支持下，经过现场踏勘、资料收集、部门调研、和相关部门沟通交流等工作过程，提出了苍溪县城市总体规划大纲方案，并于2022年8月13日向苍溪县四大班子和相关部门汇报并通过大纲审查。随后工作组根据大纲审查会提出的审查意见，对规划方案进行了修改、深化、完善，现已形成正式规划方案，内容如下：
