内容摘要:心理学研究表明,小学阶段是学习语言的关键时期。而任何语言的形成及学
习,都有赖于学习者对语言材料反复练习,进而形成语感,以便达到熟练运用的程度。然而,
机械、单调的语言练习及学习方式会使注意力不易集中、自制力差的儿童产生厌倦情绪和心
理。所以,对儿童的英语教学,就要从适应儿童的心理特点着手,运用儿童喜欢的、活泼多
样的内容和形式去设置教学情景,使儿童在轻松愉快的气氛中进行语言训练。

角度来阐述运用歌曲或儿歌教学的实用性,并举出例子,具体谈论怎样在教学中加以运用。

Introduction
English, as a second language in China, is a major subject from primary schools to university.
It’s an essential stage for children in primary schools to acquire pronunciation and memorize basic
vocabulary. An interest in a language is known as a key to being motivated to learn. The priority
for English teachers is to arouse children’s interest in studying English. But how?
Through lots of research investigations and my own experience in teaching practice, I
propose a melodic approach to language teaching in which emphasis is given to the melody of
language. That is, to introduce songs and jingles to English teaching classroom.
Considered both theoretically and practically in the fields of linguistics, psychology, the
value of songs in motivating children to learn English and enhancing their involvement in class is
highly acknowledged. This article will dwell on the practicability and application of using songs
and jingles in English class.
