Aftersurveying botlldomestic andforeign research works on English reading strategies and thespecialtraining on students’prehension strategies, theauthoremploys ACTIVE teaching model toCalTy Out areadingstrategiestraining project for twomonths on eight itemsamong 30studentsinClass3ofGrade9ofWuhan Guanggu High training resultsindicatethattheACTIVE English teaching method hasimproved thestudents’awareness ofreading methods and their prehension ,it raises ahilgh standard forteachers,who ale supposed tobe thestudents’trainers,researchers,learners andcoordinator.
